How do the reservation and Registration Processes work?
After reserving spots, clubs are free to select the students they'd like to attend.
Selected students can then fill out their registration package.
The package must be printed out and hand signed. Once completed, students scan and email the package to our team.
Our registration team will confirm if everything is in other and the student will be fully registered.
Early Bird Registration
Early Bird registration allows for clubs to reserve spots at the Zone 28 & 32 Interact Convention ahead of time so that they can spend subsequent months finding students to fill those spots.
Districts are allocated six student spots and one chaperone spot. Rotary Sponsor Clubs will be able to reserve spots by submitting an email of interest to our registration email and paying the total registration fee (learn more in our Payment & Registration Policy).
Convention spots are confirmed once payment is received. Spots are on a first-come, first-serve basis and until early bird ends each sponsoring club can only reserve spots for up to two students.
Once Early Bird registration closes, unclaimed student spots will be reshuffled to waitlisted Rotary Clubs. This will allow clubs to be able to pay for more than two spots at the Zone 28 & 32 Interact Convention.
OCTOBER 16TH, 2021 - JANUARY 2ND, 2022
The registration fee is 850 Canadian dollars with an additional $141 as a refundable contingency deposit. Read our Payment & Registration Policy to learn more.
WHAT IS THE ROLE
OF THE CHAPERONE?
Tasked with the responsibility of accompanying and supervising the Interact students that are chosen to participate from your district to attend ZIC, the Rotarian or Rotaractor Chaperone is an essential part of the convention. Your district can not send students to ZIC in March if a chaperone hasn't been chosen by then so press the button below to learn more about their role.
